Why the Rye Fund

PROTECTING OUR PAST - ENABLING OUR FUTURE

Rye is a special place. People come to live in and around Rye because they love it here. But Rye has its challenges that must be met

How to Apply

The Rye Fund has been established to support voluntary and community groups active in the Rye and District area.
Whether your organisation is just starting up with a new project or has been going for many years and needs help with running expenses, we would like to hear from you.

Amounts of grant available range from £100 to £2000, with priority given to the smaller local groups.

The only criteria for grant applications is that your organisation must actively benefit people living in and around Rye and must have some formal organisation, generally with its own bank account

You can apply for a grant by completing a simple application form from Sussex Community Foundation. You can register for the form by clicking this link and another link to the online form will be sent to your email account. The form is online and may be edited several times before you decide to submit it. You can attach the requested documents to the form before it is uploaded. If you have any questions about the application process, you can contact the Grants team at Sussex Community Foundation at grants@sussexgiving.org.uk .

Once applications have been approved by Sussex Community Foundation they will be passed to the local Panel for their decision.

Applications Review Procedures

At this stage, Grant Applications will be considered on an annual basis. All successful applications will be monitored to highlight benefits to the community. The awards are made annually in November.

Closing dates for applications are generally by the end of    October”
